Anything wider than that gets cut down to what actually landed. Four clean drops in a row give you some width back, every 15th plate is a gift, and a miss puts the lot over.
Works with mouse, touch, or spacebar. Get close enough to center and it snaps flush for a PERFECT with a growing combo bonus. Land off to the side and the overhang breaks off and falls for good, narrowing the stack permanently. Survive to every 15th block and the stack gets a +35% size boost. Miss it completely and it's game over.
